Villa with unobstructed views
This single-storey villa is located in a quiet area on the north coast of Madeira Island with fantastic and unobstructed views over the valley of São Vicente and the sea. The modern, minimalist style blends wonderfully into the landscape and matches the valuable building materials and technically sophisticated equipment of the house. These include, for example, sophisticated heat and sound insulation, blackouts through electric blinds, thermal double glazing with floor-to-ceiling windows. All rooms are air-conditioned. Through the entrance hall, one enters the large living and dining room, where there is an open-plan kitchen with a very functional island and large windows offering stunning views of the pool and the surrounding area.
To the right of the entrance hall is the hallway leading to three bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom also has a walk-in wardrobe. The spacious garden areas surrounding the house provide ample opportunity to enjoy the Madeira sun and warmth, as well as the spectacular views. The infinity pool also offers fantastic views of the sea on the north coast. The location of this villa allows for absolute privacy with tranquillity in all areas of the house. And yet you can reach all important services such as supermarket, café, bakery, nursery and other amenities of daily life in the immediate vicinity.

The village São Vicente
São Vicente is a pretty coastal town in the north of the island in one of Madeira's most beautiful valleys. The absolute highlight of the place are the Grutas do São Vicente, the most beautiful lava caves ever found in Madeira. In these caves, which were only discovered in 1865, you can experience the volcanic origin of the island at first hand. The tour in the caves leads through a seven hundred metre long, bizarre labyrinth of passages that are between 5 and 6 metres high. The population still lives mainly from agriculture and fishing, although rural tourism is becoming increasingly important and is being promoted. The main church of São Vicente in the middle of the village is also interesting. It is dedicated to Saint Vincent and was built in the 17th century. There are excellent ceiling paintings here, with Saint Vincent blessing the village in one image.
